You need AIX help -- can anyone out there help on this?
Possibly 2.0.5 might help here...what was the problem with pthreads?
Can someone else answer this too?

I know people are using this on AIX -- IBM for instance!! 

In the mean time,
you could try commenting out the HAVE_GETADDRINFO and see if that
helps.
