Class definitions in 2.0.4

I am working with a large install base (currently ~450 sgi/linux servers)
using CFE-2.0.4 in our production environment. I have a rather "newbie"
question to ask. I have a subset of my total linux farm that I want to
define as a class (I believe this would be the correct method to do what I
want) that has a special set of configuration files for its networking,
sendmail, and other network related configs that are significantly different
than the normal production linux class. How or what is the best way to
"divy" up or define classes within my configuration in order to have 3/4 of
the linux farm use 1 set of masterfiles and the other 1/4 of the linux farm
(my newly defined "special" class of linux servers) use another set of
masterfiles?

I am starting off with a very simplistic approach using cfe just to get it
rolled out into production, and it was easy to define sgi vs. linux.
However, now I have a subset (host-name based of course) that I want to
define as its own special class. Roll those new configs out and then start
to further define the "pieces" of the production environment which comprise
the "non-standard" configurations.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions
