cfengine-2.1.0b2 not working better on Red Hat 9.

Greetings.


  I tried cfengine-2.1.0b2 on Red Hat 9, and it still crashes once in a while, 
has always some problems with locks (type ¨already running!¨) while no other 
instance is running.

  At this point, I have to look for alternatives (there doesn't seam to be any 
though).  If I have time, I will try to debug what is going on.
