Give 2.1.0b4 a try, setting the control variable HostnameKeys = ( true ).
You will have to go through the key exchange again, or rename the key files,
but this will make cfengine use keynames user-hostname instead of
user-ipaddress.
There is a loss of exchange security in the sense that one must trust DNS
or a name assertion, but once the keys are exchanged, there is no difference,
I have not tested this new option, so please give it a go.
