Hello,
Your post pointed me to a configuration error that prevented me from executing remotely cfagent with cfrun sending me the same reverse DNS error.
I launched cfservd on the client in debug mode and detected that the problem was that I was allowing to run cfagent only granting the link that pointed to the binary but not the binary.
As I see that you've already posted it to the bugs mailing list I leave it here by the moment.
