Mark,
At the Friday tutorial at LISA last month, if my notes are accurate, you
suggested that methods were useful for iteration, providing a
subroutine-like capability in cfengine. But it looks like list
variables aren't iterated over when used as the parameter to a method
call, the list variable is passed whole (a colon-delimited string) to
the method.
Is there some other sense in which you referred to methods and iteration
together, or some other way in which to repeatedly execute a method (or
a module, for that matter), for a given list of variables?
thanks,
Ed
