Re: Netgroups in cfengine 2.1.19p1

Just to make sure, I completely removed cfengine from one of my
systems this afternnon.

I compiled and installed version 2.1.18 and it worked as expected.
Immediately afterward I removed that, and compiled and installed
version 2.1.19p1 with the same settings. It runs, but does not pick up
on the netgroup data.

I tried making some tweaks to /etc/hosts and was unsuccesful.

I then changed the hostname from the FQDN to the short name and it
still did not work. However, with the hostname set to the short name
and the /etc/hosts entry changed from

172.16.3.131 b08n001.oic.example.com b08n001

to

172.16.3.131 b08n001 b08n001.oic.example.com

it worked. I am extremely hesitant to "fix" my other hosts in this
matter. I do not know if it is relevant, but these systems do NOT use
DNS for name resolution.
