You can use aspell, which is now available in Cygwin. Install Cygwin
(which is a good idea anyway) from http://www.cygwin.com/. Select the
aspell package in the Cygwin installer (along with all the other
goodies :). In your .emacs, add:
(setq ispell-program-name "aspell")
All done.
