Thanks Lennart, the new version works well, and thanks for the suggestions
for spacebar file completion.
I don't recall having any issues with filenames or folder names that contain
spaces in 21.3. I'll try the NEWS suggestion, but failing that I'm sure I
will manage to switch over to the TAB key in a few weeks. Until then my
backspace key will come in handy :)

I think I have corrected this now. There is a new version of
Emacs-22-CvsP061209-EmacsW32-1.11.exe
now to download. I have tried to fix some problems in this version:
1) The problem that Emacs was not started (you got the message "remote
server not running"). Turned out to be a missing initialization.
2) Will Deutsch reported a problem on Vista x64. I tried to fix this
too, but I am waiting for Will to test it.
3) Closed the window shown by emacsclientw.exe a little bit faster so it
will not disturb that much.
