Hi,
thanks a lot to all who helped. I finally managed to get a consistent
version of flex out of the RCS (when I hunted down a machine with it
installed, but the co -d was buggy). It compiled both on Unix and on
BS2000, with the MVS scan.c. But that's as far as I got. The resulting
lexer gave me lots of error messages when parsing scan.l.
A compiler which compiles itself is in my eyes a bad hack, and I'm clueless
on how to port it to Ebcdic. This is too bad, but I give up.
thanks
Daniel
