Hi,I've been using flex-2.5.27 for awhile now, and have had very few issues with it. However, when I upgraded flex to 2.5.31, I discovered that some of the firmware generators in the linux-2.5/2.4 series kernel would no longer compile. Specifically, the Adaptec AIC-7??? firmware driver source would give me the following error:
aicasm_scan.l: In function `expand_macro': aicasm_scan.l:522: error: `yytext_ptr undeclared...[SNIP]It is important to note that reverting to flex-2.5.27 results in a successful compile. This can be reproduced every time. Is there a problem with flex or with the aicasm source files? If you want to reproduce this, please use a 2.4.21-pre5+ (or) 2.4.65+ series kernel.
Cheers, Nicholas
