Hi,.fts contains the features. ADI means additional document information. This contains as far as I know the most frequent and least frequent feature and things like that that some feature weightings might use. There are little perl skripts that bring the binary fts files into a text format. Maybe Wolfgang can send these to the list. I have to look but should also find them.

Thanks for the response.Am I right by assuming that if I want to find out about features of image X I would then read into X.fts or I would read into X.fts.ADI?Thanks again Epa Uwimana Quoting Henning Müller <address@hidden>:Hi, if you have added a collection with gift-add-collection then you have extracted all the features for the images already. There is a directory called FeatureExtratction that contains the Ccode for feature extraction.Cheers, Henning Epa Uwimana wrote:andHello,I installed gift on my machine and was able to add my collectionindexed them but I am running into some problems to extractfeatures.imageWould someone tell me how I can extract features from a specificnewusing GIFT?
