I use Debian and expect to remain in close contact with GLPK.
I have no experience as a package maintainer, though I am willing to
learn.  Are you looking for someone who is already a package
maintainer?

If no one more qualified steps up, then I'm willing to take over once
I read the package maintainer documents and feel like I know what I'm
doing.
