Hello Jordan,
in glpk-java 1.0.13 there is no method
read_model(.modFile, data, output)
Method GLPK._lpx_read_model() is deprecated.
Please, have a look at examples/java/Gmpl.java
which uses method GLPK.glp_mpl_read_model()
