I am using GLPK under octave interface for a mixed integer programming

Assertion failed: a != a
The implication is that a is a NaN (not a number).
Somewhere a divison by 0, the square root of -1 or something
produced a NaN instead of aborting like a good debuggable program.
The NaN propagated until one of its children hit
the assertation designed just for such problems.
