I didn't think Emacs linked to Xaw3D, except via patches by other
parties.  Where did you get the source to this?  I would suggest
downloading a fresh copy of 20.7 from gnu.org or its mirrors, and trying
that.  (Works for me on Tru64-Unix 4.0D (was Digital Unix, was OSF1)).
