RE: print headers

This happens because the print program usually LPR is configured to
print to a LINE PRINTER (you may remember the continuous form printers,
but maybe not) not to a laser printer. Unless you can get your
sys-admin to configure it to print to a laser printer you are out of
luck.
My Suggestion:
Use the postscript print functions.

Hello,

When printing with the print-buffer command, the date and page info that

gets printed out does not line up with the top of the pages. As the
pages go
on, some are in the middle of the page, bottom, or wherever they land.

I'm guessing that the lpr-headers-switches variable is the way to solve
this, but I haven't been able to find some real info on it.

Does anyone know about this? Or a good info spot?

Thanks in advance.
Kevin
