Scrollbar dragging with left button?

I've searched the FAQ and this mailing list archive, but I can't find any information on how to get the 3d scrollbars in emacs 21.1 to drag using the left button, instead of the middle button (as I don't actually have a middle button on my PC - and holding down 
both left&right together for scrolling to too cumbersome).

Does anyone have any suggestions?
