reverting back to standard keyboard commands

I'm not sure how or why,    but I think I changed c-y 
to act as "set-mark"   and "paste."   

Obviously this is a tad annoying.   Furthermore, 
c-space  doesn't do any marking.  

Do you know how I would go about changing these
commands back to their original settings and
functions?
