Java Mode won't font-lock

Another fairly simple problem that has been bugging me and I can't seem to find the solution to. Every single mode I have will font-lock ok BUT java. Since I do most of my home programming in java and got used to the pretty colored letters, this is way annoying. Anyone knows what could cause that, and what could fix it? 
Any help would be dully appreciated :)
