ok. i am honest. i am nearly a perfect newbie so here is my newbie question:
i just downloaded the source for emacs 21.2 and now i would like to compile it 
so i
can use it.
another bad message: i am using windows 98. at the moment there is no other
possibility for me so please help me anyway.
