Does someone have some advice about using the font-lock-multiline
variable that's cited in Emacs 21 NEWS (lines 1290 and 1291).
*** Multi-line patterns are now supported. Modes using this, should
set font-lock-multiline to t in their font-lock-defaults.
The font-lock-defaults documentation doesn't have any reference to
this variable.
I'm using
"GNU Emacs 21.2.1 (i386-debian-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2002-03-22 on raven, modified by Debian"
