M-x delete-trailing-whitespace

Hello -

Trying to use the 'delete-trailing-whitespace' function in XEmacs 21.4.13
under WinXP - but when I do a 'M-x delete-trailing-whitespace', I get a 'No
match'.  Indeed, M-x 'delete-TAB' will show me a list of functions but
delete-trailing-whitespace is not among them.  I downloaded from xemacs.org
and I think I've got all the necessary packages installed - at least, that's
my impression after looking at Tools->Packages->List and Install.  Any ideas
appreciated - thanks.
