gnus-other-frame chrashes emacs

Hi,

I found a strange problem that 'M-x gnus-other-frame' crashes
emacs. It happens with the debian packages 21.3+1-9 as well as the new
21.4a-1. I also installed the new gnus package, but it didn't help. I
get the following output on my xterminal:

X protocol error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) on protocol
request 42

Could anybody tell me how to get more debug information?


It could be a debian specific problem, but I'm not sure. The only
person I found with a similar problem is a debian user:
