This doesn't seem to happen by defaulty for me after setting
... '(w32shell-cygwin-bin "c:/cygwin/bin"))...
(require 'w32shell)
(w32shell-add-emacs)
(w32shell-set-shell "cygwin")
anyone happens to know? thanks...
