Never knew this would work! Except for the Mac OS X Cocoa/NeXTStep/ OPENSTEP variant Emacs.app ...
The change seems to be that most add-ons are now set to off (or no), i.e. you have to configure actively with --with-this --with-that -- with-something-else!
