Good catch. Please try the latest icicles-cmd.el:
http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/icicles-cmd.el

FYI - It worked fine within each manual, but not at the Top (dir) level, where
the menu items are manuals, not nodes.

It should work OK now everywhere, including Top. Thx.
