I run Emacs 22.3.1 under Windows XP. I have been trying to put something in my .emacs file that will cause eshell & calc to be loaded. Do those whole directories /lisp have be loaded file by file? The eponymous files within those directories do not do the job. I keep being told that some other .el file or other can't be loaded. apropos -> load does not reveal anything suggestive. What am I missing? -- --- Joe Fineman joe_f@verizon.net ||: Be sincere: fool yourself first. :||
