I just installed Cygwin on a new Windows box, along with the Cygwin-
built Emacs (and XEmacs, for comparison). I'm having some issues with
XEmacs, but with respect to GNU Emacs, when I start it, all the
characters show up as open boxes.
The console shows the following at startup:
Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-courier-medium-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-
iso8859-*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-helvetica-medium-r-*--*-120-*-*-*-*-
iso8859-1" to type FontStruct
Would this be better asked on the Cygwin list?
