I use Emacs 22.3.1 on Mac OS X (Darwin). I'm basically stuck with
this version, because it's the one that's offered by the package
manager I use (MacPorts).
This version of Emacs, if running under X11, has the menu Options
> Set Font/Fontset.... When I select it I get 3 more options:
Misc, Courier, and Fontset. So I pick Courier, and from the choices
I then get I pick 18 bold. Then I must re-adjust the size of the
window to fit my screen.
The annoyance is that I have to go through this song-and-dance for
*every* Emacs session. Is there a way to make this font selection
(and window size) stick for good?
TIA!
