I tried
-b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-normal-sans-20-140-100-100-m-120-iso10646-1

It seems pale and pixelized. Is this normal? What do you think?
I don't know, if this font comes from Java. I get the fontnames from
"xlsfonts".

Can you reproduce the problems with efont?
