Trying to install color-theme on emacs 23.1

Hi,

I have compiled emacs 23.1 on ubuntu. And I am trying to color-theme
(6.6.0) from
http://www.nongnu.org/color-theme/#sec5

I have copied color-theme.el to ~/bin and have added these .emacs

(require 'color-theme)

But I get this error when i run emacs -debug-init:
