emacs 22.2.1 postscript print

I am trying to print a buffer using the 'Postscript Print To Buffer'
command on the File menu. However, this produces the following error
message:

Symbol's function definition is void: ps-header-footer-string.

Is there something I need to install to allow postscript printing?

I am using GNU Emacs version 22.2.1 on Ubuntu 9.10.
