^^^ No. ;-)
The regexp "*" matches only strings containing an asterisk, although
that's more or less a coincidence. Basically, it's an invalid regular
expression: * means "the character or group preceeding the * may occure
zero or many times".
Ok, what I wanted to say: you want ".*" above. :-)
