As the doc string for condition-case states:
(condition-case VAR BODYFORM &rest HANDLERS)
...
Each element of HANDLERS looks like (CONDITION-NAME BODY...)
A nil handler is the same as (), which does not specify a CONDITION-NAME to
handle nor a body for the return value.
