Flymake configuration error

Hello,

I had been using Pyflakes in emacs23. But after upgrading from ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04, it has stopped working and whenever flymake-mode is enabled, it shows the following error -

Error (flymake): Flymake: Configuration error has occurred while running (pyflakes cond_loops_flymake.py). Flymake will be switched OFF

I know the error message doesn't look quite useful and I don't know where to look for pointers.

Also I have noticed that after upgrade, the python version has changed as well from 2.6.6 to 2.7.1+ . Can this be the reason ?

I even tried installing pyflakes again but it still fails.

Following is the configuration in my .emacs file -

(when (load "flymake" t)
  (defun flymake-pyflakes-init ()
    (let* ((temp-file (flymake-init-create-temp-buffer-copy
                       'flymake-create-temp-inplace))
           (local-file (file-relative-name
                        temp-file
                        (file-name-directory buffer-file-name))))
      (list "pyflakes" (list local-file))))

  (add-to-list 'flymake-allowed-file-name-masks
               '("\\.py\\'" flymake-pyflakes-init)))

;; (add-hook 'find-file-hook 'flymake-find-file-hook)

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
