Well, you can always try, you know.  Scoop: it does work.

Each one is a window on the same frame, when Emacs runs on a text
terminal.  Nothing impossible with that, is there?

Anyway, the problem has nothing to do with the kind of terminal on
which Ediff runs, so all this is not relevant.
