Hi List,
I have in some modes keybindings defined like

| C-3 f
`------
and they work under X11, just like C-<digit> can replace C-u <digit> as
argument for commands:
C-4 n and C-u 4 n
prints
,-----
| nnnn
`-----
in the scratch buffer under X11.
