Error building 24.3 on CentOS 6.5 with X toolkit.

I am trying to build Emacs 24.3 on CentOS 6.5 with gtk2.

After running ./configure I get the following build configuration:

Does building Emacs 24.3 with gtk2 work on CentOS 6.5.  Does it require
more modern versions of its glib dependencies?
