informing gud-gdb about window size changes

Hello!

When I start GDB with M-x gud-gdb, it sets its screen width to the correct 
value.  But when I resize the GUD window, e.g., with C-x {, GDB does not seem 
to notice the change.  This results in ugly output, especially when "print 
pretty" is "off" and I have made the window narrower than it was in the 
beginning.

Is there a way to make GDB set its screen size automatically whenever I resize 
its window?

I am running Emacs 24.3.1 and GDB 7.8.1 on Linux text console.
