You are right, of course. But... I must admit that I searched for
something with "icon" and failed miserably (something with "path"
would've led me to image-load-path). I didn't try the sources yet.

This is a difficult thing in Emacs: it has its own (strong) culture
and its lexicon sometimes differs in subtle ways from people's
expectations. Now I don't have a good idea on how to tackle that :-(
