Hi again!
Please don't waste your time thinking about the problem, I found the
culprit.
It was me, unpurposely killing some chars in the variable
~gnus-summary-line-format~ somewhen too late at night.
This led to the interesting result of showing ALL articles in the summary
buffer next
to each other (in my initial mail I wrote about just two, that's
rubbish). Would have been fun though, if they'd still have been accessible.
