But not only, also in the code.  So that those studying the source
don't get confronted with whatever type of sophistication the authors
settled for.  Perhaps a tagging system on files so others can know what's
required to understand.  If most have high level of sophistication,
it could be a problem that went unnoticed whilst changes were being done.

I know that Jose Marchesi did some work on extracting the Cyclomatic
Complexity from source code.
