Setup from dabbrev for matching and adding to a list

With a number of defconsts, one of them being shown here, I would like to match 
the word at point with the first string, and if there is a match, add the 
second string to a list.  What can I do?  I have taken the defconst from my 
setup from dabbrev.  But perhaps there is a better way.
