Finding the indicator too thin, the original question asked if there exists an
already defined way to use a wider indicator.  

You asked me to find a wider character that looks like a vertical line.  But it 
is
complicated to figure out a way to do it.  So the question is now about 
possibility
of having different thicknesses (sensible of course, e.g. thin, thick, wide) 
without 
users having to find a solution and get it to work.
