When reading (info "(emacs) Resources") does not give any more hints to
you, I'm out of ideas (or knowledge).  Seems the name of the resources
file can vary.  Also seems that
`internal-set-lisp-face-attribute-from-resource' is doing the work, but
that's all C stuff, so I'm out here.
