I have just discussed the similar topic with Andrew :) The message
means that trying to write a stop (logout) entry to the radutmp
database the server did not find a corresponding start (login) entry.
Possibly the start entry was lost due to either network problems or
high server load.
If it's a single message, just ignore it. If the message repeats often
it makes sense to revise the `retry count' and `timeout' parameters in
your NAS configuration. These are named differently for different
NASes, so you'll have to refer to your NAS documentation for
information on where to find them. The `retry count' parameter
determines how many times the NAS re-sends the packet if it does not
receive any reply from the radius server within `timeout' seconds.
Setting retry count to 3 and the timeout to 10-15 seconds is usually
enough.
