[Help-gnu-radius] modem and start record

Hi list,

a little bit off topic this question, because it doesn't concern radius dirctly:
If you dial into a nas with a modem, there is a ppp handshake. What is the time
of the radius start record? The beginning of the ppp handshake (because the line
is allocated) or the end of the ppp handshake (because now the client can talk
ip)? In the latter case the nas session time can be 20-30 seconds longer than
the radius session time, can't it? Thanks for an answer...
