[Help-gnu-radius] MSCHAPv2, radius and mpd

Hey I'm trying to authenticate a PPTP session to mpd against a radius
server.  

 

Radius is running locally as is working:

 

envy# radauth mcampbell

Password:

PASS

envy#

 

However when I tell mpd to authenticate against the radius server I get
the following failures at the authentication stage:

 

[pptp] CHAP: rec'd RESPONSE #1

 Name: "mcampbell"

[pptp] RADIUS: RadiusAddServer Adding localhost

[pptp] RADIUS: RadiusPutAuth: RADIUS_CHAP (MSOFTv2) peer name: mcampbell

[pptp] RADIUS: RadiusSendRequest: RAD_ACCESS_REJECT for user mcampbell

[pptp] RADIUS: RadiusGetParams: RAD_REPLY_MESSAGE:

Access denied

 

[pptp] RADIUS: RadiusGetParams: PANIC no MS-CHAPv2 response received

 Peer name: "mcampbell"

 Can't get credentials for "mcampbell"

[pptp] CHAP: sending FAILURE

 

 

In the radius logs I see the following:

 

Aug 26 12:00:20 [159]: (Access-Request 65.211.173.251 70 "mcampbell"
CLID=208.178.226.24): Login incorrect [mcampbell/]

 

So it looks like my password isn't being sent!

 

Any pointers are appreciated.
