Hello,

I am trying to use the awk on a Windows NT application, and I am trying to
change the delimiter to a different value then the SPACE (which is the
default delimiter).
I have tried all I know but I always get some parsing error.

My input is :

\\Skushel_pc\Dev_Env\AML_DEV_SNP_VC5_SHAUL\view.stg
\\Skushel_pc\Dev_Env\ETFS_DEV_SNP_INT_BRANCH_02\view.stg
\\Skushel_pc\Dev_Env\ETFS_DEV_SNP_INT_GENERIC_SHAUL\view.stg
\\Skushel_pc\Dev_Env\ETFS_DEV_SNP_INT_GENERIC_SHAUL\AML_DEV_SNP_VC5_SHAUL1.v
ws
\\Skushel_pc\Dev_Env\ETF_1.2.0.0_KITINFO_SNP\view.stg
\\Skushel_pc\Dev_Env\IMAX_NCI_LI_SNP_2.07\view.stg
\\skushel_pc\dev_env\ETFS_DEV_SNP_INT_2.07\view.stg
\\skushel_pc\dev_env\ETFS_DEV_SNP_INT_2.07\IMAX_NCI_VPIM_SHAUL.vws
\\SKUSHEL_PC\Dev_Env\AML_DEV_SNP_VC5_SHAUL2\view.stg
\\skushel_pc\dev_env\AML_DEV_SNP_209\view.stg
\\SKUSHEL_PC\Dev_Env\IMAX_NCI_LI_207\view.stg
\\skushel_pc\dev_env\ETF_DEV_SNP_209_SHAUL\view.stg
<\\skushel_pc\dev_env\ETF_DEV_SNP_209_SHAUL\view.stg>

and I am trying to change the delimiter to \ and to get the 5th field.
I am using “GNU Awk 3.0.3”

Can you please help?
